The practice is required by the Government under the terms of the latest GP contract to allocate all patients a named accountable GP.

Statement of Purpose

Statement of Purpose

Boundary House Medical Centre strives to provide its registered patients with high quality, cost effective, appropriate and relevant services for the prevention of ill health, together with the detection of and appropriate treatment of physical and mental illnesses.

The services are primarily provided from Boundary House Medical Centre, 462 Northenden Road, Sale, M33 2RH, telephone number: 0161 972 9999, email: admin.boundary@nhs.net. However, where medically appropriate home visits are undertaken.

The Practice liaises with appropriate staff from other organisations, including Community Health Services, Secondary Care and Social Services, where required and consented, and other statutory organisations and the third sector.

Services provided from the Surgery premises include appointments, which may be actual, telephone or virtual in nature, with General Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants, and various third parties who provide the Practice with services on this site, for example, drug and alcohol services.

The original registered manager for purposes of CQC is Dr P A Gray, from 1st October 2014, who may be contacted at the above address.

Boundary House Medical Centre was a legal partnership of five, will be three from 1st October 2014, and employs a variety of staff including nurses, managers, reception staff and currently three salaried G.Ps, one permanent and currently two temporary. Additionally the Practice has attached GP Registrars in training, usually not exceeding two persons at any one time.
